New!! February Sketch Challenge, Steampunk Love by Shanna, and an Altered Frame by Veronica

Wow! There is so much to love on our blog today! Welcome everyone. Grab some coffee and plan to spend a few moments with us.
First up is the sketch challenge for February. The challenges are an all new feature open to our followers or anyone else wanting to play along. Each month, on the first Monday, a new sketch will be provided in our gallery. Winner receives a $10 gift certificate to shop at Gina's Designs. Since only members of our Design Team entered last month, nobody won! We realized it would take some time before the word got out, but meanwhile it's your golden opportunity for a chance to win the gift certificate! Here's what you need to do:

You must register on the gallery in order to upload, and your entry must be entered into the area of the gallery designated for sketch challenges, and in the proper month. You will find the sketch challenges in the categories section. Winners will be chosen by drawing from all eligible projects and will be announced on the blog on the second Monday of each month. We encourage you to use Gina's Designs products in your project but it is not required to be eligible to win.

Below is the sketch for February along with my own sample entry.

Next up is Shanna with an altered canvas appropriately titled Steampunk Love.

Hey everyone. Shanna here and excited to share this project with you. It is already February and the month of love. I was automatically drawn to the new Valentine's chippies Gina came out with in January and knew I had to create something with this Steampunk Heart.

So here you see all the bright colors I couldn't resist I am loving this color combo.

Here you can see some up close of the colors.

I gave the chipboard a coat of gesso. The title "Love" got a spray of Peony Prima Spray and then a little layer of Crackle Accents.

Love my new twinkling h2o's! They are amazing for light or dark colors!

Next up is Veronica with an altered frame in a fashion theme

Welcome February! Its hard to believe that the first month of 2014 is now behind us!
Nothing better than marching right into a new month with projects in mind!
And here is another project inspired by Gina's Designs
Today I want to share one of my favorites with you. Fashion Forward is a look into the future of design. I enjoyed using Gina's Dress Form from one of her Dress Form Shape Sets
Love the hooped skirt Dress Form Shape. Gives the era of the Victorian Age!
I pasted a old torn piece of pattern paper to add to the over all "Fashion Theme"
Look at the young Fashion Diva!  She's not afraid to go forward! I really enjoyed adding all the embellishments to complete the over all look. Laced ribbon and buttons....makes me want to go to my sewing machine!
Hope you enjoyed looking at my altered frame...this one is truly one of my favorites, and I am so excited to share it!
Blessings to you and yours
